We purchased the stand and had it delivered thinking it would be the same size as displayed on the website. When we measured it, the stand was only 50″ in length. Our TV would not look right on such a small stand. I was expecting it to be 57″. Therefore do not order the stand unless you are willing to get a 50″ stand instead of 57″ stand as advertised on Amazon’s website.

Mr. Martin, if your 57″ Mitsubishi has a base wider than 51″ then you don’t have a 57″ Mitsubishi TV. I have a Mits DLP 57″ 57833 that is exactly these dimensions.

The stand you bought is designed by Mitsubishi for these TV’s. I read your review and was influenced negatively about the stand until I researched it. You must have a larger TV and bought the wrong sized stand or if the stand is less than 51″ wide then you bought something entirely different. Other reviews say this is an excellent product. Here’s the dimensions of the stand that you rated. Can you confirm?
