How Do I Hook Up My Hp Laptop To My Mitsubishi Big Screen Tv?
I can't find a way to hook my HP laptop up to my Mitsubishi Big Screen. I have an VGA plug on my tv but not on my laptop. I have a HDMI plug on the laptop but not on the tv. What should i do? Thanks

Does the Tv have a DVI plug in? if it does you can buy an VGA adapter to DVI.

You will probably need a product like the HD Fury ($59+). It strips the HDCP protection so that you can use HDMI on a non HDCP compliant device. If your screen is HDCP compliant, you could just get a cheap HDMI to VGA converter cable ($15+/-) . If you had a DVI plug on your TV, you should be able to use an HDMI to DVI converter ($15+/-) and it will work no problem. Some laptops come with an S-video output. You could use that as well if your TV has an S-Video input (Cord $5 +/-). You could also use a scan converter box ($35+) which converts vga in to s-video. HDMI/DVI/VGA will give you a better picture than S-Video though.
